Hi, I'm Jo!

I'm so glad you're here. Finding the right therapist matters, and my hope is that when you land here, you feel a little less alone. Whether you're navigating anxiety, ADHD, grief, relationship challenges, trauma, life transitions, or the many ups and downs of the perinatal journey, therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what's happening, and reconnect with yourself. You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out.

My approach is person-centered, collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to you. I draw from CBT, DBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic practices, blending these approaches to meet your unique needs. I believe therapy should feel genuine, supportive, and practical, a space where you can show up exactly as you are, build insight, and leave with tools that support you beyond our sessions.

Outside of therapy, I'm happiest when I'm exploring somewhere new, spending time outdoors, going for a run, or getting lost in a good book. I believe the little things that help us feel grounded and connected matter, and I bring that same curiosity, warmth, and authenticity into the work I do with my clients.

I'm also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and value creating a therapeutic space where clients can communicate in the way that feels most comfortable and authentic to them.

So, whether you're ready to dive in, need a place to process, or simply want to come sit on the couch and spill the tea, I'd be honored to walk alongside you-whether that's through spoken English or ASL. My hope is the same either way: that you feel comfortable enough to show up exactly as you are.
